Nathan Allen Carroll, 18, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on June 8, 2023 unexpectedly,
Nathan was born On June 15, 2004 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Duane and Carrie Carroll. Nathan was a student at Connections Academy. He was working hard to become a real estate investor. Throughout his life, he enjoyed building a foundation for his family, Nathan was able to buy his sister, Tayla, her first home on Mother’s Day. He created a heirloom for his family at a young age. He could often be found playing games with his nephew, Demetrius. Nathan loved and cherished his two sisters, Kelsey and Tayla. Most of all his dog, Nova. Finally, last but not least, Nathan loved spoiling his niece, Demetrionna.
He is survived by his grandparents Mary and Richard Augustin, two sisters Taylor Rhodes, Kelsey Cool, a brother Tod Rhodes. Aunts Johnetta Sprengl and Chrissy Augustine Richie of Mansfield, an Uncle Jammie Carroll. Nathan had a host of cousins. Also, a special sister Ledyon Saxton and a host of friends that was thicker than blood that included a special brother Keshawn Cobb.
In addition to his parents Nathan is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Demetrius Hilory.
Family and Friends may visit on Saturday, June 17, 2023 11:00am-12:00pm at The Chapel of Peace-Marlan Gary Funeral Home (formerly Williams Funeral Services) with funeral services following the visitation at 12:00 noon. Internment will be at Mansfield Memorial Park.

I love you so much, we endured so much throughout the years and we always stayed together no matter what we went though you were my first best friend You always told me we ain’t got nobody we need to build a foundation for us a forever home a place we all can always go to since we didn’t have that anymore you was my biggest motivation ever since we lost everybody around us it’s always been us. I am so sorry for the family’s loss. I have been praying for Nate and I know god hasn’t forgotten him. I was very troubled to hear of his passing, I didn’t know him well but I do remember him from the 9th grade and he was a friend to many. I’m am the same age as Nate and Im just now understanding the concept of death, it is can be very scary in Mansfield. I pray for peace in my city and justice for Nate. Life is a gift and we can die any day. I seen Nate we June 6th, we walked out pass each other without a word and now he is gone I don’t know how to feel. If only I could go back two days and warn him but its now too late but I know god will remember Nate and he will have justice

My deepest condolences to the Carroll family, I met this young man a few times and he was very respectable. My heart breaks for you and I pray as time goes on the pain will lessen. RIP Nate❤️

It’s been 2 months now….. it still hasn’t set in. I can’t and won’t allow myself to believe you’re really gone….. Nate I miss you so much. Your senseless death has caused so much pain among your friends(brothers) your family, and me. I didn’t think it would hurt this bad but then again I never thought you would be gone. Never. This is hell bruh. I was so proud of you. You was actually becoming an adult. Weird…. Didn’t even realize how grown you’d become. So proud of you Nate. We all miss and love you truly
My sincere Condolences to Nate’s family and friends. Nate was honest, lovable, and kind. Nate was dependable and had a good business ethic about him. So young and talented, such a senseless crime. Nate, I Miss and love you, RIP.
