MITCHELL,

Regina “Jeanie” Mitchell, age 62. Sunrise June 15, 1953 and Sunset January 11, 2016. Jeanie attended Central High School and was formerly employed by OSU. She loved to cook and spend time with family and friends. Jeanie was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Mitchell. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Burlene Smith; siblings, Teresa Waters (Fred), Leondra Mitchell, Edith “Diane” Mitchell; children, Kelly Shelton, Tiffany Hunter (Stephen), Joseph Shelton; a host of grandchildren (11), great-grandchildren (8), nieces, nephews; and special friend, Dennis Hill. Visitation 9 a.m. Service 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Travelers’ Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 1553 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, OH 43211. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
