To the Winbush family. My heart is with you and your family at this time of your loss. There is comfort in knowing God’s promises about the resurrection hope. (Acts 24:15) and (John 5:28,29) In the past God has resurrected humans and He is eager to do it again because He hates death. (Mark 5:41-43) To learn more about God’s promises go to JW.ORG. There are online Bible study lessons featured and more. Love Your Neighbor Irish J. Richardson

Condolence from Rev. Dr. Jennifer S. Leath on March 22nd, 2019 11:20 am

To The Family & Loved Ones of Rev. Robina Winbush,

I write to express my deepest condolences to you. Rev. Winbush was a friend, a sister, and a mentor to me and countless others; I am eternally grateful. Her heart was for justice and it overflowed with love for all humanity. She had little patience for those who would stand in the way of love and justice. Her vocation was ecumenism and she ministered as one who knew that she was always among G*d’s children.

May G*d comfort and keep each of you as you mourn. May G*d strengthen you with joy as you remember this sacred womanist.

Condolence from Rev. Muriel Burrows on March 23rd, 2019 12:07 am

Dear Sister-Pastor, you were one of the first people who befriended me when I arrived in the United States, a scared refugee seeking political asylum from apartheid South Africa in 1982. Years later I was thrilled to meet you again when we both worked at the PC(USA) national office in Louisville, Kentucky. Your passing has left a void here on earth, but you will bring so much joy in heaven. Thank you for your ministry and your friendship.
