Richard E. Carter, passed away at home on November 16, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. Richard was born on October 3, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife Beverly, son Michael (Lakeia) Robinson, daughter Nicole Lynice, parents Hilton and Odessa D. Carter, sister Paula (Dylan) Barrett, grandchildren Zion, Xcelsior, and Youssou, and goddaughters Kassidy and Shayna Barrett.
Richard graduated from Eastmoor High School in 1971 and Ohio University in 1976. He retired in 2015 from Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
Visitation 2pm and Memorial Service 3pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”
Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
