Richard Houser Jr, 58, passed away on December 30, 2020 at Grant Hospital, Columbus Ohio. Richard was born July 18, 1962 in Cleveland, OH, a son to the late Richard and Thelma J. Hauser Sr. He graduated from South High School, Youngstown, OH in 1981. Richard was an Air Force veteran who served at Clark Air Base, Philippines; Carswell AFB, Fort Worth, TX; Fairchild AFB, Spokane, WA; and Lindsey Air Station, Wiesbaden, Germany. Richard moved to Columbus, OH in 1993, where he worked as a manager in the food service industry. He enjoyed playing cards and Dominos, and cooking. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his son, Richard Houser III and grandsons Elijah and Darius Houser of Columbus, OH; sisters Christine Mack and Thelma J. Hauser of Youngstown, OH; Pauline Callahan of Columbus, OH; and Lisa McClendon (Robert) of Campbell, OH; brothers Robert Carter of Warren, OH; and John Houser of Youngstown, OH; fiancee Ylonda Person of Columbus, OH; and a host of relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Eric Foster and Darnell Houser. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E.
