Ben will certainly miss Uncle Dickie. Ben talked about him all the time and really missed his visits with him at Altercare due to COVID 19. We are so glad that he was able to be a friend to Ben. They had a very special relationship.

No more pain and no more worries. Richard you can rest now. You will be truly missed but never forgotten. I am going to miss our Sunday TV lineup from football, baseball, The Walking Dead or whatever else was on, our talks, both of us falling asleep while watching TV and my Popeyes chicken.

Approx 2 and a half years ago my friend and I had met “uncle Dickie” at Altercare Rehab in Canal Winchester ohio-Ben was 16 years old and instantly became “great friends’ with Richard-
We visited many times
and Ben always went in to talk to him-Richard always seemed so happy to see him-they watched sports-talked about fishing and of Bens school days-recently of course we could only see him at the window- Ben has been very worried about “uncle” – everyday he would ask me if I had any news about him-there is a photo of Ben and uncle together in this memorial-He will miss him so much-thank you “uncle Dickie” for being a good friend to Ben! RIP –Prayers to the family and friends-

Condolence from Ronald Howell on September 12th, 2020 8:58 pm

Thank you for your prayers. Please think Ben for me for his love for his uncle Dickie. His uncle Dickie loved him and always enjoyed his visits. When I saw the picture of them two together I knew it had to go in his memorial.
