Mr. Ronald E. Harris Sr., age 68. Sunrise September 8, 1954, and Sunset April 16, 2023. Ronald Harris was born to parents Devernia and Ralph Harris Sr. in Hawkinsville, Georgia. While he experienced a wonderful childhood in Georgia and Florida, his family relocated to Ohio in his late teens. He enlisted willingly in the United States Army in 1973, faithfully serving in Alaska, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

In 1980, Ronald was honorably discharged after eight years of dutiful service. Ronald is fondly remembered as the rock of our family. He was known as the “fun uncle” he told the hard truths and held you accountable. He wanted you to be your best self. He loved hard, had a kind soul, and was a loyal friend. He will be sorely missed as he begins his journey in the spirit.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Devernia and Ralph Harris Sr., and brothers Leon and Gregory Harris.

He is survived by his brothers Ralph Harris Jr. and Wayne Pollock, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Special family; Nikky, DeeDee, Alyse, Tione and, Christina
