Rondale Sullivan photo

Rondale Lamont Sullivan Sr., Age 51, Sunrise December 21, 1971 and Sunset September 30, 2023. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Father, Arthur Swanson and Mother, Anita Haynes, and his little brother, Paul Haynes Jr. He is survived by his fiancé and partner of 10 years, Angela Haynes. His children, Rondale Sullivan Jr., Jenny Sullivan, Ondae Sullivan, Dezmond (William) Howell, and Macie (Adam) Harlan. His grandchildren, Jamya, Ivy, Kyslie, and Jasper. Brothers and sisters, Chanita, Danielle, Kuemar, Michelle, Carl, Andre, Montee, Treva, Sonjia, Angel and special brother Oleatha. Special niece Chasity and special nephews Lil Chaz and Loyal. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many loved family friends.

Anyone who knew Rondale, knew his love for the Ohio State Buckeyes, boxing, and food, especially his TikTok recipes. He also enjoyed all Marvel and DC Comics, loved any type of movies, and jammed to any type of music. Rondale never knew a stranger and would do anything he could to help anyone in need. He had a pure heart of gold with the most beautiful soul. He loved everyone around him, especially his family, but most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren. He always had a smile when talking about his grandchildren that would light up the world. Rondale always had a story of somewhere he had been, what he seen and done, and where he wanted to go and the things he wanted to do. Even with the battles that arose on his path, his strength and amount of fight never dulled and not once did he let his beautiful smile fade. As a man filled with so much love, he would never want those he cared about to cry in pain and grief, but to celebrate and treasure the life he lived and keep the best memories alive. His soul is now the sun in our skies, the shine in our stars, and the love in our hearts. We will hold him in our hearts until the day we can hold him again in heaven.

Condolence from Ruby Merritt on October 19th, 2023 2:33 am

My heartbreaks with the babies and Sister you left behind. Goodness Sweetheart we spoke often after Mommie and although I know you knew, my heart aches, you called often to let me know you cared and knew! I adore you for keeping in touch after Nita, and of course Auntie is far in distance but never in heart when it came to you. I remember your entrance and totally disheartened by your leaving, but the light you shined will always glow. I have always loved and will continue to keep you in my memories as I too grow older and hope to see you and Mommie my next go round. She was and will always be my dearest ❤️. Love Auntie Ruby

I love you so much Rondale. Now you & Aunt Nita can rejoice with each other. Thank you for loving me, joking around with me & calling me just to sit on the phone with each other. I wish we had more time together to create more memories however I am at peace knowing you & Aunt Nita are together now. I love you! Your cousin Mia

Condolence from Rondale’s Friend on October 21st, 2023 4:04 pm

Oh, Rondale. Why? Why’d you have to go? I still needed you here, just like many others did.

It saddens me, I can’t text or call you, but at least I still have your videos. I just watched the one of you singing Happy Birthday to me.

So many things I may not have known, but the one thing I did know is that you were a constant in my life for MANY years. I’m so thankful for your friendship and presence in my life. I’m also thankful that we weren’t bickering (LOL) the last time we spoke. (Saturday September 30, 2023 at 2:55PM.) The date and time is etched in my brain.

You’re in a much better place than we are. I’ll see you, when I get there. Until then, keep watch over me, and your family.

Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your life. I will always hold you dear. I miss you! (No more )

Love you, Friend
