Sheryl Denise Hutchings, 53, went home to be with the lord on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at OSU Hospital. She was born March 23, 1966 in Laurel, Mississippi to Mattie and LC Bolton.
She was a loving and caring person to her family and friends. She attended South High School and was baptized at Grace Baptist Church.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her father, LC Bolton, grandmother, Willie Shanks, aunts Clara Squire, Bobbie Nel McKinnis, Bobbie Jean Barnett and Daisy Jones, sisters Joann and Eunice Shanks.
Sheryl leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Darnell Hutchings, Jr., daughters, Christine Bolton, Victoria Bolton and Shannel Hutchings, son, Darnell Hutchings, III., 15 beautiful grandchildren, mother, Mattie (Jake Williams) Bolton, sisters, Michelle (Mike Bryant) Bolton, Pam (Lionel Williams) Bolton, Sonja McCormick and Vanita Newell, brothers Kenneth Bolton, Ray Bolton, Lee Bolton and Terrel Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Private Services entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I will always remember the fun we all shared at Kiara’s baby shower. She will be missed. May God comfort and strengthen you all.
