Shira Marie Morris Taylor, age 59. Sunrise December 24, 1957 and Sunset January 18, 2017.
Shira is preceded in death by her father, WC Morris.
Left to cherish her memory, sons, Lamar Morris, Sr and Bryson Taylor; mother, Rutha Morris; sisters, Avis Lamb and Tammy Mitchell; brother, Willie Lacey (Lynetta) Morris; grandson, Lamar Morris Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation 10:00am Funeral 11:00am Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Rhema Christian Center, 2100 Agler Road. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

It was vary sad to hear of the loss of your sister. I know that you were by her side throughout her long illness. May the blessings of God continue to comfort you and your family at this difficult time. Just know Tammy, that your Uhuru sisters love and care for you.
To Morris – Taylor Family, especially Mrs R. Morris, Avis, Lacey and Tammy my condolence to you all. My heart is heavy and sad to hear about Shira. I pray that GOD comfort, strengthen your hearts in this time of sorrow. She will be missed. Shira R.I.P.
