satterwhite

Stephanie Elaine Satterwhite, age 50, passed away to be with her family in Heaven on Saturday, April 17, 2021. She was born on April 21, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio.

Stephanie was educated in Columbus City Schools and a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. Stephanie worked various jobs in her life and finally settled in with Fed Ex, where she had been employed for over 10 years. Stephanie had no children but loved and treasured her God Daughter Mackayla and all of her nieces and nephews.

Stephanie will be sorely missed. She is survived by her Sister, Camille Satterwhite (Richard), Half-Sister, Darlena (Doug) Thompson, Half-Brother, Dale (Kim) Satterwhite, two Nieces, Averi Satterwhite, and Zayla Younger, and three Nephews, Timothy Thompson, Colbert Thompson, and Rylan Younger.

Her Angels on earth: Kevin Gamble (and family) and Gerri Boone (and family), along with a host of more family and friends. She is preceded in death by father, William R. Satterwhite, mother, Joan C. Satterwhite, and brother, Jason A. Satterwhite.

Stephanie will be missed for her sense of humor and compassion for others. She always made light of everything no matter the circumstances and would do anything for others; even if she didn’t have it. She was the most loyal Friend, Aunt, and Sister a person could have. She will always be loved.

Condolence from Pastor Winston C. & 1st Lady Bonita L. Ridley on May 1st, 2021 7:57 pm

Dearest Camille & Averi,

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful Celebration of Stephanie’s Life that you & Family put together. We wished we could have attended. My beloved husband, Winston Christopher and I, Bonita L. Ridley (aka Chris and Bonnie) are on the Satterwhite side of the Family. My Mother, now living in Heaven, too, is Stephanie’s Aunt and her Father’s Sister. Uncle Billy, Aunt Joanne and Cousin Jason are part of the legacy Stephane inherited. She is a gentle, gracious and generous spirit just like her Mother, Aunt Joanne and she got her sense of humor from her Father, Uncle Billy. Because of her faith in Jesus she now lives in her new home, a mansion in Heaven where she will live with the Lord God in complete peace and health for eternity! Hallelujah!! Stephanie has joined the Lord Jesus, Uncle Billy, Aunt Joanne, Jason, and that cloud of witnesses that the Bible tells us about. They are praying for us to keep pressing on. Be steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (I Corinthians 15:58) May the Lord continue to bless, keep and comfort you and Family with His everlasting Love. We love you dearly. Rev. Dr. Winston C. and 1st Lady Bonita L. Ridley and The Greater First Baptist Church Family and Friends, 2701 13th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20009.
Jesus said,.. “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” John 11:25-26 NKJV

Condolence from Gerrie Boone on May 9th, 2021 3:16 pm

My best friend, my sissy, my other half… it took me a minute to write your condolence and honestly I’m still not ready but here it goes. I don’t know how I’ve made it without you these last few weeks… Without our texts, our phone calls, our taco Tuesdays dates, your constant prayers for me and the family, your laughter, your smiles, your advice, your amazing outlook, your kindness, your love and your beauty inside and out. You taught me so much in our time together and I am forever grateful for that. My heart is broken and losing you and my momma within a year of each other seems like a incredibly mean joke that the universe has played on me. The only thing that I’m holding on too is that you are happy. You are so happy now, I can feel it. Until we meet again girl, I will see you in all the incredible beauty this earth has to offer. I will laugh at our memories and I will cherish every single picture that I have of your face. In life you were everything to me, my family, my friend, my soulmate and now you are my angel. I love and I will miss you for the rest of my life. Thank you for blessing me Steph.

Condolence from Sheri Lytle on June 7th, 2021 3:57 pm

I just learned of Stephanie’s passing. I hadn’t seen or spoken to her in about 9 years, but I remember her well from my days at FedEx/McGraw. She was a wonderful woman and I’m better for knowing her. I’m so sorry to her friends and family. She was a lovely person.
