William John Patterson Jr., ag 76, affectionately called “Bill” by family and friends was born May 9, 1945, in Hilltop West Virginia to William John Patterson and Elizabeth Lenora Hugh Patterson.

Bill professed the Lord in 1967 at the age of 22. He enjoyed family, bike riding, helping others by driving them to appointments, and spending time with his companion Theresa of 21 years. They shared many memories, especially the little kisses which let the other know they would always be there.

Bill departed this life on June 5, 2021 joining his mother and father, William John Patterson and Elizabeth Lenora Hugh Patterson; wife, Amanda; daughter, Margaret Patterson-Pradier; brother, Charles; and sister, Maria Patterson-Mitchell.

Bill leaves to cherish his memory son, William John Patterson III; sister, Ann Porter; companion, Theresa James and her sons, William Gaines and Greg Gaines; fur baby, Joy Lyn; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
