William Roy Dennis, age 56, was born on January 17, 1964. On July 1, 2020, he left this earth for his eternal home.
He was preceded in death by parents Arthur R. Dennis, Sr. and Valdienne (Ryan) Dennis; sisters, Connie Dennis and Janice (Oliver) Blackston, Sr., and by son, Raheem Burris.
He graduated Centennial High School and attended Columbus State University’s culinary school. He was a Christian and was baptized by Pastor R.F. Hairston, Sr. of the Refuge Baptist Church.
Bill knew the Lord! He enjoyed spending time with family and special friend Hazel Bozeman. Bill loved to cook and was an avid OSU Buckeye fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Isaiah Thompson, William Tripplett and daughters, Juanita Tripplett II and Ashley Burris ; two sisters, Dr. Deborah Dennis and Marcia Dennis; two brothers, Arthur (Rita) Dennis, Jr., Jeffrey (Angela) Dennis, many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to close friend, Hazel Bozeman. Bill will be missed by all whose life he touched.
