Craig Ellis Favours was born on January 2, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to Wilbur and Minnie P. Favours. He was the second oldest of ten children.
Craig was called home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2023. He attended Columbus City Schools. He loved track and Martial Arts. He Retired from Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent.
Craig enjoyed traveling and loved to dress. The Ohio State Buckeye was one of his favorite College teams and Cleveland Browns as his Pro team.
Craig loved the Lord and was baptized at an early age at The Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith.
Craig loved his family, He cherished his children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.
Craig is preceded in death by his mother, Minnie P. Favours; father, Wilbur Favours (Marguerite); aunt, Sarah Elam; sister, Donnetta Favours; brother-in-law, James Leigh, Jr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory brothers, Wilbur (Rikkhyia), Michael R., Shane, Daylon; sisters, Denise D., Sarah, Ayrizanna, Sharmell; daughters, Venise Carter, Ravon Smith; Two Sons; grandchildren, Jocellen Huddleston, Madison Dandridge; great granddaughter, Lilly Ochamda; nieces, Denise M., Valouria, Kylese, nephew, Khyree, Carlos Sr.; great nieces, Desirae, Asia, Alexis, Dawnyce; great nephew, Carlos Jr. and a host of family and friends.
Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Friday, September 29, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).
Interment at Union Cemetery.
