Mansfield Ohio Funeral Chapel

Dear Community,

The time has finally come for me to retire. Some have asked when, which is something I could not answer until now. Effective April 1, 2021, the funeral home has been sold to Marlan J. Gary of the Marlan J. Gary Funeral Homes Chapel of Peace, of Columbus. For those who are old enough to remember, Larry and I purchased the funeral home from Marlan’s uncle, the late David Gary, so we can say this turn of events has come full circle as Marlan undertakes (pun intended) 50 years of history. We are very pleased to leave the community in the capable and caring hands of Marlan Gary, someone who has ties to our community and will serve with the dedication and compassion of Williams Funeral Services.

We want to take this time to say; thank you for being our valued customer and for supporting us. Over the past 40 years, we have been grateful for the pleasure of serving you and hope we have met your expectations. We sincerely appreciate the trust and confidence you have placed in us in serving and arranging your loved one’s final tribute.

The care, dedication, concern and commitment to our families was a number one priority in making this life-changing decision to sell the funeral home. You are the heart and soul of our business. We believe, simply put, there would be no us without you.

I will remain active with the funeral home along with our staff. We humbly encourage and request your continued support as we transition to new ownership. Please join me in welcoming the new owner, Marlan J. Gary.

It has been my honor and a pleasure to serve you.

Thank You,

Pam
