Robert Tarale Tyus-Currie, 44, died Friday, March 29, 2024, after A long illness. He was born November 11, 1979, in Brownsville, Tennessee to Robert Blair-Currie and Annie Tyus-Currie.
Robert was known to many as “Black Rob”. He attended Mansfield Sr. High School. Robert cherished time with family and friends. He loved to travel and help others. Robert had A beautiful heart and soul, he was big on family, loyalty and love.
He leaves to cherish in his precious memories: his mother; Annie Tyus-Currie; children, Quavon Williams, Rahieem Dorsey, Asharian Dorsey; siblings, DeWone Tyus, Deondra Currie, Deonka Tyus, Latrice Tyus, Yalanda Currie, Natea Wayne (Shaun), and Quinten Currie; special aunt and uncle, Thomas and Lolita Larkins; special brothers, John Stokes, Sointa and James Effinger; special sister, Ashley Hawkins, a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Blair-Currie; grandparents, Charles Currie, Orena Blair, Callie Tyus-Mitchell, James Byrum; sister; LaQuay Currie; aunt and uncle, Charles Clark (Linda), and niece, Allanah La’Shae.
