Hiram André LaGree, age 57. Sunrise July 24, 1965 and Sunset July 3, 2023.
He loved music, fishing, and barbecuing, but mostly he loved his family. He was the grill master and the photographer of the family and we will miss him.
Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Clara Dixon, his sister Yvonne “Bunny” Turpin, and his niece Kimm Simmons Turner.
He is survived by his children Elizabeth Alice (Isaac), Hiram André II, Daphne Alexandra, his grandchildren Genevive, Cruz, and Savannah, his siblings Domingua LaGree, D’Vaughn (Traci) LaGree, Hazel Dixon, Hyman Dixon, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation 3:00 PM and Funeral Service 4:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

My condolences to Hiram’s family. My brother, Roger Parish reminded me today that Hiram played the Lion in a production of the Wiz at Ft Hayes sponsored so many years ago by the CETA Youth Program.
