Lisa Louise Johnson, 58, was called to be with the Lord on September 15, 2023, peacefully in her home in Detroit, Michigan. Lisa was born the last of four children in Columbus, Ohio to her loving parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Roberta Johnson on October 4, 1964.

Lisa worked as a Youth Advocate Service member for a decade where she served thousands of children and families in Franklin County. Later, she become an in-home caregiver, no matter what she did, Lisa always had a focus on taking care of those in need of assistance and support. Lisa continued her education after moving to Detroit, Michigan and earned a degree as a Certified Medical Assistant. She used her expertise to care for, not just her patients and clients but for, family and friends in their time of need.

Lisa was funny and straight to the point just like her mother. One thing she took very. seriously was her children and grandchildren. She was a committed mother, grandmother and did not play any games about any one of her babies. She loved every person in her family and made sure to always show the kids extra love and attention. Lisa loved to laugh and had a laugh that would make you smile. She was kindhearted and an amazing friend.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son Carl Johnson Sr., her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Roberta Johnson, her sister Barbara Jean Johnson, niece Charlee Martin and some of her favorite aunts and uncle. Saundra Mickens, Constance Scott and Nate Johnson.

Lisa leaves behind a host of family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that will mourn her passing. Her beloved son, Leon Heard Sr.; siblings, Kim and Charles Johnson Jr.; niece, Danielle Johnson; nephew, Charles Johnson III and lifetime sister/friend Tonya Lawrence. Her grandchildren Carmeika, Shaniya and Carl (Jr.) Johnson, Davion (Wellman), Braonna (Wright), KayLeon, and Leon (Jr.) Heard. Bryce Wright great-grandson.

Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, September 30, 2023 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
