OBITUARY:
In Loving Memory of Marcus Eugene Bozman Sr.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcus Eugene Bozman Sr. on September 14, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on December 4, 1980, in his beloved hometown of Columbus, Marcus was a charismatic and beloved member of his community.

Marcus will always be remembered for his unwavering love and dedication to his family. As a loving son, brother, and father, Marcus held a special place in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a proud father to his adoring son, Marcus Eugene Bozman Jr., who brought immense joy to his life.

With a bright and illuminating smile that could light up any room, Marcus had a captivating presence that drew others to him. Known for his leadership qualities and his preference for carving his own path, he was not one to conform but rather a trailblazer in both his personal and professional life.

Marcus worked as a skilled forklift operator in the construction industry, employed by Nautilus Warehouse. His dedication, hard work, and commitment were evident to all who crossed paths with him. A true Steelers fan, he proudly donned black and yellow to support his favorite team, bringing excitement and camaraderie to game days.

Outside of work, Marcus had a passion for football. In his leisure time, he found solace while casting his line and fishing along the serene banks of Alum Creek, Buckeye Lake and Hoover Damn. These moments spent in nature were cherished by Marcus, allowing him to reflect and find tranquility.

Marcus leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. He is preceded in death by his parents, Debora Jean Price and Willie Drew Combs, as well as his grandparents, Isaac Bozman Sr. and Essie Mae Williams; aunt, Beatrice Harris.

He is survived by his beloved son, Marcus Eugene Bozman Jr.; step-father Isaiah (Christine) Price Sr.; siblings Irene (Marcus) Meadows, Willie Drew Bozman, Iris Bozman, Natalie Bozman, Isaiah (Shantel) Price; step-brother Clayton Edward Price and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom will forever hold Marcus close in their thoughts and hearts

Services of remembrance will take place on September 21, 2023, Visitation starting at 6:00 pm, followed by a Funeral at 7:00 pm, both held at THE MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

To commemorate his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to our lives, we invite friends, family, and all those touched by Marcus to attend DEB’s Celebration and Event Center on September 21, 2023, immediately following the service.

Marcus was a beacon of strength, generosity, and love. His memory will live on within the hearts of all who knew him. Please join us as we celebrate his remarkable life and find solace in the cherished memories he leaves behind.
