Michael Earl Harper, age 65 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday June 11, 2023. Michael was born
October 7, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio to Eula Harper and John Allen.

As a child Michael began his relationship with the lord, attending church with his mother and siblings at Southfield
Baptist Church. He also gained a love of fishing at an early age. Michael worked for the Columbus Dispatch
delivering newspapers and also worked for the Columbus Department of Recreations. As a teen Michael excelled in
football at South High School where his talent helped him earn a scholarship to Central State University. Michael
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1979, from Central State University and obtained a State of Ohio
Counselor & Social Worker License.

As an adult Michael worked as a social worker at the Franklin County Welfare Department, Franklin County
Children Services and Dayton Correctional Institution. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and
friends.

Michael Earl Harper is preceded in death by his father, John Allen, grandparents George and Fannie Harper, Myrtle
and Jo Allen; brother Fred Allen; and sister Linda Wade.

He leaves to cherish his memory mother and stepfather; Eula Harper-White, Lindsey White, stepmother Delores
Allen, daughter Elisabeth Bozman of California; sons Enrico (Tonya) Bozman of Arizona, Hamilton (Tricia) Harper of
Minnesota, and Alexander (Nicole) Harper of New Jersey; siblings Rena (George) Talbert, Benjamin Harper, LaTonya
McGaughy, John Jr., Elaine, Delores (Anthony) Kelley, Gloria Allen, stepbrother Victor (Elia) White and a host of
grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
