
Minnie lee Gamble was 95 of Jacksonville Fl. Went home to be with the Lord June 7,2023 at home with her loving family after a brief illness. She was born March 16,1928 in Shaw, Mississippi,
She moved to Mansfield Oh., with her late Husband Mack Gamble Sr. whom she married October 16,1949 to start their loving family. She moved to Jacksonville Fl. In 2015, where she was cared for by her family.
Minnie retired as a daycare provider at the YMCA in Mansfield Ohio.
Minnie L. Black- Gamble was proceeded in death by her husband, Mack Gamble Sr.; parents, Tommy and Candie Black; siblings, Tommy Jr., James, Fred, Ruby, Ruthie Mae and Mamie Lee and children; Willie Gamble of Indianapolis In., Terry Gamble of Jacksonville Fl., and Darlene and James Gamble of Indianapolis In.
Minnie leaves to cherish her memory her children Mack Jr. & Teresa Gamble-Jonson, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 15 great -great grandchildren; two brothers, Jessie & Charles Black Sr. and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at New Life Church, 538 Wayne St. Mansfield, Ohio. Interment at Mansfield Cemetery Association. I grew up watching you and Mother Sykes , Mother Lindsay sit on the front pew beautiful strong wearing the crown guiding me and other young ladies. You are truly going to be missed Mother Gamble. I remember getting out of church at the Oasis of Love glancing down the street and seeing her working in her garden or just sitting on the porch at the green and white house I would hollering “Hey Aunt Minnie” she would wave and say “Hey Baby” back it has not been the same since she moved woooooow she was a awesome person and will and already is greatly missed.
