Born on April 28, 1948, in Montevallo, Alabama, Donald’s life was a testament to the values of service, love, and commitment.

With a heart full of patriotism, Donald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he devoted his time and energy to safeguarding the freedoms we hold dear. After an honorable career, he retired from military service and embarked on a new chapter of his life. He then retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier.

A true family man, Donald’s love for his wife of 52 years, Celestine Woods, was unwavering. Their bond stood as a shining example of lifelong devotion and partnership. Together, they raised four sons: Shedrick, Donald Jr., Aaron (Teresa), and Adrian. Donald’s love and guidance knew no bounds, and his sons will forever cherish the lessons and values instilled in them.
