Condolence Messages

  1. Dr. Jolene E. Wallace

I met my sister, my friend, and my Soror in 1963 on the third floor of Shorter Hall at Wilberforce University. We have been friends since that day. We spent our college days enjoying the independence that college life brings along with the good food from Ma Beatty’s sandwich shop. Life was good then, and it was even better as we started our careers.

I will miss my friend’s presence, but joy will come in knowing that she lives on through the lives she touched daily. I extend my condolences to Te and their children. May you dwell upon pleasant memories of her life.

  2. I offer my condolences to the Watkins family on the transitioning of Lorine. Lorine was always so vibrant and talented. I had not seen her in years, but I will always cherish the memory of her. She was a mentor and a fellow teacher. Iā€™m keeping your family in prayer.
