Satia K. Dunson

Satia Kiona Dunson, lovingly known as “TT”, was born to Keeva Dunson and Ira Langford on February 17, 1996 in Columbus, Ohio. She went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Satia attended Berry Middle School where she enjoyed participating in many talent shows and later became a proud South High School Bulldog. During her high school years she loved playing volleyball as a Lady Bulldog. Her proudest moment was becoming a mother to her daughter, Maur’Lay. TT had a love for many things. First and foremost was the unconditional love for her family. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, or simply a barbeque, she was the glue that kept the family together. Being her parents’ only daughter strengthened her love, leadership qualities, and ability to be such a tough individual.
Satia absolutely loved the Lord. She was a member of LifeWorks Family Center. There she used one of her many gifts to worship the Lord. She and her cousin worshiped through mime dancing in their group, “Silent Praise.” TT had a love of laughter. Whether it was a funny social media post, her comical jokes, or acting out movie scenes, she was sure to keep the room laughing. Those very moments will truly be missed.

Satia is preceded in death by her father Ira Langford; grandfather Christopher Russell; and Uncle Christopher Russell Jr. Her legacy of love will continue to live on through her pride and joy, her only child, Maur’Lay Dunson; mother Keeva Dunson; grandmother Deborah Russell; brothers Adonus and Tayon Dunson, and Ira, Marcus, Cyrus, and Ryan Langford; stepmother Tomeka Langford (Detroit); nieces Adonustey and Promise Dunson, and nephew Tayden Dunson; along with a host of other relatives, special friends, and loved ones.
