In remembrance of our beloved Victor Earl Goode. Sunrise, September 27, 1953 and Sunset, January 22, 2024 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Victor Earl Goode was born to Giles P. Goode II and Beulah Mackey-Goode. He was the third born son, and an apprentice to his father who was a serviceman by trade. Victor was a man of many talents, who enjoyed working with his hands. He was a hardworking independent contractor. He was skilled in electrical work, plumbing, mechanics, construction, carpentry, and woodworking. He was a handyman and could fix just about anything. He was also the Chef of his household. His children remember fondly the wonderful meals he would make including his infamous pizza pie and steak with mushrooms and onions. He loved spending time with his family fishing, camping, hiking, and having cookouts. He, like most of his family, was a Cleveland Browns fan and also a Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

He was a hands-on father who was adored by his children whom he enjoyed teaching many useful tools in life, including cooking, driving, riding bikes, mechanics, sports, woodworking, and countless life lessons. He had an affection for those who were down on their luck, often employing people who had difficulty finding work, and providing transportation to job sites. He was an animal lover and would often bring home strays. He was loved dearly by his grandchildren, and God children with whom he enjoyed being a big kid.

He loved with his whole heart, and never wanted anyone to feel sadness in his presence. His energy and smile were infectious. He was strong-willed, daring, playful and forever young at heart.

Victor is reunited in heaven with his parents, Giles P. Goode II and Beulah Mackey-Goode and his brothers, Ray, Giles, and Leafor Goode.

Victor leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Norma Goode; children, Brandon T. Wymer (Jenora Adams), Brandy/Nugget (Shannon) Jones, Sandy/Boo (Riki) Wymer; God-children, Dominic/Nicki (Grace) Gray, Arielle (Cori) Gray; former life partner, Mary Wymer, 13 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, close friend, Randy Burley and many more friends and loved ones.
