A wonderful father, fantastic friend, loving son, and a creative craftsman has left this earth on January 20, 2020. Stephen Eugene Higgins was a man of power and passion and had recently moved from his hometown Detroit, MI., to Columbus, Ohio to fulfill his journey in love. Steve was a very pragmatic and humble man that played the cards of life the best way he could, happily.
He always found a way to make the best way out of any situation and if you weren’t laughing or smiling, he knew what to do to make sure you were happy too. Such a joy. He will be remembered with love and his memories will keep us warm.
Stephen was the youngest of 7 children to John and Louise Higgins.
He is preceded in death by father John Higgins, siblings Melvin Hines, Brenda Pullens, Veronica Hines, Rita Durr, and Johnny Ray Higgins.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; loving mother Louise Higgins; his sister, Edna Thornton; and a host of extended family including over 10 nieces, and 7 nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
