Kenneth Rashawn Palmer born September 6, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio. Kenneth went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2021. “God’s Gift” was entrusted to Charles and Barbara Palmer to parent Kenneth, also he was nurtured by late grandparents, Betty and George Watkins. Kenneth graduated from Marion Franklin high school in 2008 and went on to attend the University of Toledo and Central State University where he majored in Criminal Justice. Kenneth was employed by Bob Caldwell where he was a top salesman who helped many people finance vehicles. Regrettably, he was on the verge of building a business where he would own a fleet of dump trucks.

Kenneth was known throughout the city as one of Marion Franklin’s top-tier football players at his position as a defensive lineman wearing his favorite number 6. He was also a three-time wrestling City Champ for the Red Devils. Kenneth enjoyed and participated in many hobbies. He was a proud member of The Untouchables MC, known as Iceberg Slim reviving the moniker of his late father, Charles E. Palmer Sr.

Kenneth gained an appreciation for blues music from his aunt, Candy Tuff who demanded that he play blues whenever she was around. His love of music grew and resulted in Kenneth’s unique ability to play several instruments, including drums, bass, and the keyboard. Additionally, Kenneth was a highly-sought after DJ, an avid roller-skater, and a mechanic – he was our Mr. Fix It. Although Kenneth had many accomplishments, his greatest achievement was father to his children, Khalil and Khylen. Above all else, Kenneth deeply loved his boys, and he was devoted to them. Of the things his family will remember most it is his beautiful smile, genuine heart, and kind spirit that will be missed.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Barbara Palmer, grandparents, George and Betty Watkins; brother, Charles Palmer, Jr.; and nephew, Jeremy Palmer.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory children, Khalil and Khylen Palmer, Columbus, Ohio, siblings, Felecia Palmer, Leslie Palmer, and Lakeisha (Lawrence) Palmer-Yawn, all of Columbus, Ohio; aunt, Candy (Joe) Palmer Tuff, Columbus, Ohio; dear friends, Shanika Joyner and Dominick McCormick, Sr., of Columbus, Ohio, and a host of special relatives and special friends.
