Donel Braswell was born March 31, 1962 in Enigma Georgia to Juanita Braswell Hughes and the late Thomas Braswell Sr. He departed this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at home.
Donel was a graduate of Beechcroft High School. He worked as a truck driver for Bob Sanders Cement, Anderson Cement, Summit Cement and owner of BB Trucking.
Donel is preceded in death by his Father Thomas Braswell Sr., brother Bobby Braswell, grandparents Lonnie Sr., Ella Mae Phillips, Lizza Mae and M.C. Braswell.
Donel leaves to cherish his memory wife, Rosalind Braswell; mother, Juanita Hughes; sons, Donell and GR; daughter, Sherry (Michael) Evans; sister-in-law, Kim Goins; brother-in-law, Kendall (Terri) Bradshaw; mother-in-law, Helmar Jackson; grandchildren, Andrew, Mia, Angelina, Kyan, Ryen, Miles, DeMarion, and Demarieon; brothers, Johnny (Felicia) Braswell of Union, KY, Thomas Jr. (Mary), Dwight (Deanne) Braswell all of Columbus, OH; sisters, Shirlthy (Wesley) Cutler of Charleston, SC, Joana (Paul) Glass, Maria (Willie) Radden and Sabrina Hughes all of Columbus, OH; aunt, Elder Janice “Aunt Tina” Thompson; uncles, Jerry and Robert (Joyce) Phillips all of Columbus, Ohio; great aunts, Juanita Clark of Indianapolis, IN and Mary Phillips Benton Harbor, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many friends.
