Lavenia Marilyn “Venia” Frost of 2009 Westbrook, Columbus, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2021. Venia was born January 8, 1959, a daughter of the late Oscar and Alean May Frost.

Venia was a 1978 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. Venia enjoyed cooking, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was a self-employed Home Health Care Provider for nearly 40 years until she became ill. Venia was a Faithful member of the “Temple of Love,” Church of The Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth in Warren, Ohio, where she was a dedicated member of The Bells of Paradise, and sang her favorite song, “I’ve Already Been To The Water,”

Venia leaves to mourn, 4 children: 2 daughters; Dorothy (Devin) Fleming, Makisha Frost, both of Columbus, Ohio,  2 sons; Marc (Heather) Jordan, and Amontreal Frost, also of Columbus, Ohio, 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; all of Columbus, Ohio, 3 brothers; Benny May, of Tacoma, Washington, Robert Frost, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Michael, (Tina) Frost of Columbus, Ohio, 3 sisters; Ruth, (John) Sewell, of Arlington, Texas, Nancy (Robert) Young of Columbus, and Jenny Frost of Mansfield, and a Host of Relatives, Friends and loved ones. A Special Friend; Miss Pamela Armstrong, also of Columbus, Ohio.

She was preceded by her Loving Parents; Oscar, and Alean Frost, 2 sisters; Gaynell Davis, and Patsy Frost, 1 brother; James, (Jim) May.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
