William Baker Jr, affectionately known as “Willie” & “Bake” was born August 15, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio. He departed this earth on Sunday, July 24, 2022.
Bake was very family oriented & enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He shared a unique & adoring bond with several of his male cousins. Bake was an employee of Ohio Dominican College for many years. He was also a sports fanatic who enjoyed watching football and basketball.
Bake is preceded in death by his father, William C. Baker Sr.
Bake is survived by his mother, Marsha Ann Baker; children, Tyanka, Chantel, Marlon, Malik, and Dariyene; brothers, Anthony and De’Angelow; sisters, Vicky, Tracy, Michelle, Yolanda, Tina, and Keysha; special longtime friends, Cameron “Can-Can’ Rogers , Paul “Byrd” Green; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Bake will be deeply missed.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Monday, August 1, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
To the Baker Family,
I know losing Willie who is so dear is devastating, and no words can ever really relieve that pain. But to help, I wish you courage and healing during these toughest of days. Cry when you feel like it. Let the laughter roll when it comes. We had some great times when we were younger. Know that Willie will forever live on in the journeys we shared together at Trinity House of Prayer. I know he will be sorely missed

I still can’t believe you’re not here with us bro. To say I miss you would be a total and complete understatement! My heart is broken and my life will never be the same. Words cannot express the pain our family feels from your loss. We all are forever changed, yet we are grateful that God chose to bless us with your existence. I will never forget your love, your strength, your kindness, your silliness and all the beautiful things that made you who you were.
