Ms. Betty Jean, age 89, of Mansfield, OH, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. She was supported by her loving family. Betty was born on Tuesday, July 17, 1934, to the late Ciscero and Lois (Suttle) Storey in Dalton, Georgia.

Betty was employed at the Ohio Health System as a Dietician. She loved providing hot meals for those in need. If she wasn’t cooking a home cooked meal, she was in front of her house tending to her flower garden, full of four-o’clocks and other assortments of flowers. She was a lively, wholesome woman of God, full of passion and perseverance. Though her kindness alludes her, she had no problem being outspoken and free.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ciscero and Lois (Suttle) Storey; her sisters, Mary Jo (Clifford) Jones, Ida Mae (Donald) Smith, Eunice Storey, Toledo Davis Sagoes, Vera Holland and Joyce Rooker; her sons, Ronald Taylor and Greg Taylor.

Betty leaves to mourn her passing, her sisters, Lois Lee, and Muriel Kaye Hayes; brothers, Jerry and Terry (Kathy) Storey; three daughters, Sandra Taylor, Cynthia Taylor and Tonya Taylor; one son, Michael Taylor; three grandchildren, Octavia Taylor, China Taylor, and Mychal Stewart; three great-grandchildren, Roland Stewart, Dezryn Stewart, and Iverson Stewart, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

    My Condolences too all her Families..She Cooked my Meals when I had a windowmaker..She told me I needed too stop Eating all them there Pork BBQ Ribs..She told me to eat the Beef Ribs..And I am still eating some pork Ribs but Mostly Beef. Wonderful Lady..Gone but not forgotten..R.I.P….
