Bruce Duane Reeves born July 30, 1959. Duane gained his eternal wings October 26, 2023. Duane is presided in death by his mother Mary Frances Reeves and father Caloway Reeves Sr. brothers, Terri Reeves, Torrence Reeves & Elliott “Keith” Reeves; sisters, Valorie Dillard & Kimberly Burchette. Duane is survived by his 5 daughters, Tiana (Omesh) Mohabir, Tiffany Reeves, Tanisha Reeves, Briana Pittman and Shyla Hutchins; grandchildren, Jai, Janiya, Heavyn, Josiah, Adam, Amyah, Nehamiah, Jordan, Mariah, Jayden and Dejah; brothers, Michael “Ray” (Darlene) Reeves, Caloway (Johnnie) Reeves Jr., & Kevin Reeves; sisters, Willa (Frank) Harvell, Arnetta (Fred) Cox, Tamara (Leonard Jr.) Valentine & Tobbi (Moses) Reeves-Herriott; and a host of loving nieces, nephews & cousins.

Duane was a huge family man. Cooking was his passion, and he was great at it. If he wasn’t on the grill at a family function. He was in the kitchen cooking up some amazing dishes. Then he would call his siblings, nieces & nephews to come get plates. Or he would drop of care packages to his siblings.

A graduate of Linden McKinley. After high school Duane joined The Unites States Army. While serving in the military Duane quickly moved up the ranks. Due to his intelligence and uncanny charm. Duane started a career with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections in 1989. Where once again he excelled through the rankings. Making his way to Captain in no time. In 2007 Duane medically retired from ODRC. Once retired Duane enjoyed another passion of his traveling the world. He always had many stories about the places he had visited in the world. Duane’s love for his daughters, grandchildren and family was second to none. Whatever his daughters or grandchildren asked of him, he was going to make sure they had it. He would always tell his oldest daughter, “Whatever my kids ask for if I have it. I will always give it to you.” Words will never express the loss felt by his daughters, grandchildren and family.
