Christa Marie Bell was a caring Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. She left us for her new awakening with the Lord on September 14, 2023 at the young age of 45.
Christa was born in Athens, Ohio to Mother Lucy Mary Peters and Father Essien Hanson Ipke on December 28, 1977. Though Christa dealt with many struggles, she was blessed with three sons; Gemarcio, Darnell, and Demetryous.
Christa was a proud Mother, Sister, and Aunt. No matter the trials she had to battle, she always made sure to be by her children’s side and made sure they knew she would always be in their corner. It was no secret that Christa had a hard life. She dealt with constant battles of mental illness, Christa and her siblings were in and out of foster care, and then being diagnosed with Cancer in 2013. Yet, through it all, Christa was always seen with a smile. She was loving, and she always kept people laughing. Christa loved playing Bingo at the Bingo Halls with friends. She was an aggressive Spades competitor, and she has always been known to be wherever food was being served. Christa will be greatly missed.
Christa is preceded in death by her Mother Lucy Mary Peters and best friend Yolanda McCullough. She is survived by her three sons; Gemarcio B., Darnell A., and Demetryous B., Sister Vanessa K. and Brother-in-law Joel K., with nieces Veronica K and Gabriella K.; nephews Anthony K., Carlos K., Dartanion K., and Manny K.; Brother James B. and nephew Jatterion B. and Brother Lee B., Boyfriend Aaron H., Cousin Terri S., as well as any other cousins, aunts, and friends.
