Jervon Marquee “Joey” King was born June 7, 1993, in Marion, Ohio to Jermaine Bounds and Vernice “Love” King-Hunt. He attended school in Marion, Mansfield and San Diego. Later residing in Mansfield where he married Daijah Holland in 2022.

Jervon was self-employed as a visual/musical artist and telemarketer. He loved animals and football. Go Browns!

Jervon was known for lounging in his robe and mix-match socks, his giving heart, sense of humor, and incredible music. Jervon took pride in his family, especially being a big brother and loyal friend.

Jervon was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers Joy (Bounds) Mack, Annie Mae King and Addie B., Grandfather Albert “Curly” Rembert; great-aunts, Annie Kate King and Rose Bounds; great-uncles Howard King, Leon Brady, Fred, Leroy Guyton, and Mike; special uncle, Kenneth “Kenny” King and cousin, Malik Bounds.

He leaves to cherish his memories devoted wife, Daijah King, Children, Karsen, Kyler, Aries, Yara and Jervon Jr; bonus kids, Jaiden and Keiasia; grandmothers, Gail King, and Elgean (Bounds) Woods; grandpa, David; sisters, Shanesha, Rae, Jazmine and Erykah; brothers, Eryk, Ryder and Jermaine; aunts, Nikia Fletcher, Joy Bounds, Mattie King, Francis Ward and Dee Williams; uncles, Tajie Bounds, Cedric Williams and DJ; Special cousins/brothers Tookie, Anthony, T2 and Geonie; A host of great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation 12:00 PM and Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2023, at Providence Baptist Church, 112 West 6th Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902
