Leslie Lynnette Milner, age 53, was born on January 15, 1971, and received her wings on March 22, 2024. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Inez E. Milner.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandmothers, Evangeline Milner, and Inez Sinkfield; two grandfathers and four uncles and an aunt. She is survived and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Leslie graduated from Independence Senior High School in 1989 and pursued a career in culinary arts. She enjoyed cooking and had many friends and family who loved her cooking both on and off the job. For the last few years, she shared her gifts and talents with her coworkers and the residents of Violet Springs Nursing Home. At Violent Springs, she expressed love and pride for her younger colleagues who were pursuing higher education at local colleges and universities. With much affection, she would say, “I am so proud of my children!”

A true Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Leslie would always be seen in her “Black and Yellow” gear and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. When she wasn’t working or watching sports, Leslie could be found playing video games. As the eldest first cousin of the Milner family, she deeply cared for all of her cousins. She especially looked after her younger cousins.

She loved new adventures in exotic locations and found peace and tranquility by the ocean. Her last vacation was to Myrtle Beach with her comrade, travel partner and best friend, her mother. Leslie especially enjoyed going on cruises to the Caribbean, where she would bask in the sun and frolic on the beach.

Leslie’s joy, laughter and outgoing personality will be missed and remembered.

We love you!
