Luther “Bo” Jones, Jr

JonesLutherJr

Luther, A. Jones, Jr., affectionately, known as “Bo” was born June 26, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio and departed this life on October 22, 2023, at the age of 65. Bo was a naturally gifted athlete and excelled in basketball and football at South High School.

He had a love for computers and electronics and earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Engineering Technology. He accepted the challenge of many repair projects, as his skill set covered a vast array of proficiencies. He was able to apply his skills at a laptop repair center in Grove City.

Bo was a man of few words but when he spoke his vernacular commanded attention. He will be remembered by family and friends as “quietly effective.”

Bo was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Temple Church and attended faithfully until his health declined.

Bo was proceeded in death by his father, Luther Jones Sr. and mother, Audrey Jones; his sister, Franksina Lisath and brother Allen Lisath.

Bo is survived by and leaves to cherish his memory, sisters Josette Stewart, Pamela (Robert) McCaskill, Patricia Bailey and brother, Frank (Joan) Lisath; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; including his childhood, long-standing friend, Rick Taylor. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family is most grateful for the love and support received during this difficult time and would like to offer a very special thank you to the Marlan Gary Chapel of Peace Funeral Directors and staff; the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center staff as well as anyone who called, prayed, sent condolences or lent their time and resources to the family. God Bless you all.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Friday, October 27, 2023 at Apostolic Light House Temple, 2161 Lehner Road.
