Malcolm Jerome Skanes, 59, passed away in his home on Thursday, March 28,2024.
Malcolm was born in Florala, Alabama on January 17, 1965 to Marion Williams and Louvenia Skanes Williams. In addition to his parents, Malcolm is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Dewayne Skanes and Cory Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory brothers, Calvin G. Williams (Cherise), and Cedric Williams; sisters, Voncille Curry, Jeanette Gaines (Charles), Cicely Williams and Kimberly Samuda; special daughter, Ja’Kiyah Griffin; nephews, Adam Curry, David Brown Jr., Tyrone Rowe, Zane Curry, Ian Gaines, and Travis Skanes; nieces, Cassandra Curry, Latoya Curry, Asya Curry, Jaylen Curry, Nova Curry, Journee Curry, Domenek Williams, Danyell Williams, Destane Williams, Lorinda Gaines, Shanequah Skanes; great niece, Amiyah Brown; and a host of many other ones he considered his nieces and nephews.
Malcolm will forever be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
A intimate memorial will be held at a later date and time with the family, no public services will be observed.
