MARGARET CLINKSCALE

After packing and diligently preparing these last few weeks while residing in Violet Springs Health Campus, Pickerington, Ohio, Margaret Jeanette Clinkscsale while sleeping decided she was ready to move. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ arranged for the chariot to pick her up on Friday, November 24, 2022.

The moving did not take long because Margaret was ready. She peacefully and quickly transitioned and moved from this side to her new location.

Margaret was welcomed and greeted by her parents, Steiner and Serusha Salter of whom which had originally ushered her into the world, July 13, 1936 in Luverne Ala.

Also awaiting her arrival were all of her siblings who had gone on before her: James Salter Sr. Flora “Bunch” Williams, Calvin (Louise) Salter, Wesley Salter, Joan “Earline” Green, Ozell Kennedy and Robert “Bobby” Salter.

She finally chose the address of the home that rested on the street paved with gold, in the city called Beautiful and in the State of Eternal Rest and Peace right next to her son, Gregory Wayne Croft I. They were so happy to be back together again.

Prior to Margaret moving, for many years she resided in Youngstown Ohio. Her many accomplishments include her being a Graduate from Campbell Memorial High School. Trustee at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorage of Elder J. Dwayne Heard. She was employed by St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown City Schools, City of Youngstown and Job and Family Services of which she retired in 2001.

Margaret loved being with her family. She had special and unique bonds with all of her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Margaret loved the Lord and loved going to church. She was known to pray the horns off a Billy goat. Margaret was sweet, kind and very fashionable. She loved decorating during the holidays and listening to good gospel music.

To forever cherish her memory and honor her legacy here is her husband, Edward J. Clinkscsale Sr. of whom she married in 1981. Her loving children, Kimberly (Doni) Thornton, Gary (Adrienne) Croft and her daughter-in-love, Marcella Croft whom she affectionately called “Stella”. Her bonus children include: Edward (Sharmanetta) Clinkscsale Jr., Sherry (Alfred) Richards, Rose Weston, Lillie Clinkscsale, Lonnie (Lula) Clinkscsale and Elisa (Kenneth) Tate.

Margaret also has a host of nieces and nephews of whom she loved dearly.
