Marion Nolan Riley Age 78 was born in Columbus, Ky on May 5, 1945 to the late Fred and Julia Riley. On Sunday March 10, 2024 he departed this life at home.

Marion was raised and educated in Columbus, Ky graduating from Riverview High School as a star basketball player. He later relocated to Columbus, Ohio working several jobs before joining the U S Air Force. After an honorable discharge he married his love. Mary Ann Gaines on August 29, 1969. To this union a daughter, Latonya Riley was born.

Marion was employed by Crane Plastic Mfg. for 30 plus years until retirement in 2010. He had a love for classic cars, enjoyed playing pool and was a tricky bid whist player with the nickname “JOKER”. He also enjoyed his family gatherings and reunions. He was a Buckeye and a Viking football fan. He was a strong husband, father and coolest uncle.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Riley; mother, Julia Riley; brothers, Gene Riley and Fred Riley Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Mary Ann Riley; daughters, Latonya Riley, Tracy Gaines, Wanda Gaines; son, Timothy Gaines, sisters, Eddie Mae Sowell, Martha Riley, Shella Gipson; brothers, Colbert (Cathi) Riley of San Antonio, Texas, Bobby (Phyllis) Riley, Larry (Pamela) Riley, Howard (Sherry) Riley of Tucson, Az., Donald (Anita) Riley of Lexington Ky., and many grands, nieces and nephews.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST 5456 E. Livingston Ave. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
