Mark H. Bundy was born on May 18, 1954, to Myrtle Bundy in Columbus, Ohio. He was employed and retired from General Motors Delphi plant in Columbus, Ohio.

Mark was an avid bowler and fisherman. One of the things he looked forward to each year was fishing in Fremont, Ohio during the first few weeks of May. Marks personal motto was “If Bundy can’t find the fish it is because there are no fish to be found!” Mark was also a low-key comedian entertaining at family gatherings with his blunt storytelling
and views on life as he saw it.

Mark leaves to forever love him and cherish his memory, wife, Kay Bundy; daughters, April Walk, Brandie Bundy, Marrae (Aaron) Bundy and Dawn Bundy; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Sandra, Brandee, Laquita, Mark, Teaon, Carl, Trevor, Travis, Malaya, and Alora; five great grandchildren; sister, Wilhemenia Lindsey; aunt that raised him, Barbara (George) Withers; brother, Lorenzo (Jackie) Bundy, many nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws.

The Celebration of Life service will take place on March 28, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Marlan Gary Funeral Home Chapel of Peace – East, with a visitation starting at 10:00 am on the same day. Mark will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

As we gather to honor and remember Mark’s life, let us find solace in the memories we shared with him and the impact he had on all of us. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Condolence Messages

  1. Uncle Mark, thank you for all the laughs and good times. Most of all thank you for always being unapologetically you. You will forever be missed, but your beautiful legacy lives through all your amazing children and grand children. Rest well sir. We love you. Kay, Marrae, Dawn, I’m so sorry that you even have to know this pain. But your Cleveland family loves you and are here for whatever you need.

  2. My condolences to you and your family

  3. In the depths of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreamt of spring. Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. Only when you drank from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall truly climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then you shall truly dance…..Dance on my forever friend….Dance!
