Markus Anthony Stanley born on October, 2 1987, to Mark Chilsom and Candy Stanley, He departed this life unexpectedly on Friday August 11, 2023 at 10pm. Markus was funny lovely guy very helpful and respectful young man. Who was a lovely brother and father that love to be around family. Markus played basketball for Barrett middle school on varsity basketball team in 2001. Later graduate from Brookhaven High School. And began working for Mrs. Shirley for many, many years. Markus gave his life to Christ at Church of Perpetual Promises. Markus is the second oldest of his four siblings, Ray Stanley, Deangelo Chilsom, Randy Stanley, and Marquetta Chilsom. Markus is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jean Stanley, Katie Abbott; father, Mark Chilsom; uncles, Russell, Harold, Shawn Stanley; brother, Ray Stanley; sister, Destiny Davis. Markus leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Candy Stanley; brother Randy Stanley; daughter, Markayla, Markiyah; sons Dai’Markus, Markwai Stanley, Quordell Butler, and Lil Cartey; uncles, Shannon, David (Juqeitta) Stanley, Lewis Harding; aunts, Hope (James) and Charity Stanley, Tina Harding, Aundie McGhee; nephew, Little Ray Stanley; and a host of cousins and friends. And a special friends Jackie Newman, and Sierra Rogers.
