In Loving Memory of Mary Magdalene Brown

Mary Magdalene Brown, a beloved member of the Mansfield community, peacefully passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 79. Born on December 29, 1943, in Humboldt, Tennessee, Mary made a lasting impact on the lives of those around her through her warmth, strength, and unwavering commitment to her loved ones.

Mary was a woman of deep faith and a dedicated member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where she served with the hospitality ministry. She found great joy in lending a helping hand and preparing delectable meals for church events, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all who entered. Her passion for cooking was not only evident in her culinary skills but also in the joy she shared with others.

In her professional life, Mary dedicated her years to the Therm O Disc factory, where she worked as a factory worker until her retirement. Her strong work ethic and perseverance were admired by her colleagues.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Zelma Jones Brown, sister, Earnestine Brown and brother Albert Brown and special brother in law Arnavea Feagin Jr.

Mary will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire and guide her surviving family members, including her sisters Opherine Feagin, Zelma Joyce Brown and Stella Richardson, her brother Arnold Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday September 27, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 343 N. Main St. Interment at Mansfield Cemetery.

Mary Magdalene Brown will forever be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering faith, and her ability to bring people together through her delicious culinary creations. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her cherished memories continue to bring comfort and solace to her loved ones during this difficult time.

I never heard her raise her voice, or say anything negative to anyone, she was indeed a gentle soul, she had a Christ like spirit as we all should have as His representatives here in the earth realm. When we saw each other at the store we always took the time to embrace and exchange tender greetings.
