Michael Ervin Lee Head Sr. born June 2nd, 1945, to Earl and Rosie Head Sr of Columbus, Ohio. Michael was one of five children. Michael passed at home on September 25th, 2023, with an abundance of love surrounding him.
Michael was a hard loving working man, who worked for Buckeye Steal. He then found a greater LOVE Loretta Dean. This love story started in the earlier 80’s. Loretta cared and showered Michael with her LOVE till the end. Michael was known by many as the MAYOR of the neighborhood. As Michael knew everyone and the wonderful stories he would tell.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Rosie Head Sr, and siblings, Evangelist Viola Stewart, Sarah Head-Butler and Jerry Head.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory loving wife, Loretta Dean; brother, Earl Head Jr.; daughters, T’Juana Kelly, RoseShawna Dean; sons, Jermaine Kelly Sr., Michael Head Jr, Christopher (Sierra McCaskill) Dean Sr. and Brian (Nora) Dean Sr.; 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Union Cemetery.
