Mr. Raccio “Rico” Timothy Feagin, 70, peacefully transitioned from this world surrounded by his family on December 25, 2023. He made his earthly entrance on November 24, 1953, to the late Arnavea Feagin Sr. and the late Electa (Jordan) Feagin in Mansfield, Ohio. Raccio was a resident of Mansfield for most of his life.
He was born a member of Temple of Faith, COGIC, under the Patronage leadership of late L. G. Maddox, which is now Maddox Memorial C.O.G.I.C, Elder Aaron Williams Jr., Pastor.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he earned an honorable discharge.
Raccio was one who loved his family. He had many hobbies. He liked to host cookouts, particularly BBQs and fish frys. He loved to fish with his children and grandchildren. Raccio helped his fellow neighbors and community by doing selfless acts whenever he could.
He is survived by two daughters, Thamara (Orbrey) Mitchell of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jessica Mills of Mansfield; four sons, Ricky Mills, Garth Mills, Christopher Mills, and Clifford (Chloe) Mills all of Mansfield; four sisters, Brenda and Jacqueline Feagin, both of Mansfield, Mellissa (Sean) Hinton of Toledo, Theresa (Robert) Harris of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters-in-laws; Sarah Feagin of Birmingham, Alabama and Opherine Feagin of Mansfield, Ohio; special friend, Carol Allen; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, who he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Raccio was also preceded in death by his brothers Leonard, Arnavea Jr., Marcus Feagin; sister-in-law, Patricia Feagin; nephews, Parrish Feagin, and Sean Michael Tucker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Maddox Memorial C.O.G.I.C. by Dr. Pastor Courtney D. Avery. Friends may call at the church one-hour prior beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow and be in Mansfield Cemetery.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, January 5, 2024, at Maddox Memorial COGIC, 1148 Walker Lake Rd. Interment at Mansfield Cemetery Association.
