Condolence Messages

  1. Our deepest syphathy to the Brown family. Leland & Debra Mosley

  2. Mr. Brown was, and always will be, a man I’ll hold in high regard. I met him through his lovely wife, Mishele, my former co-worker. They gave me a ping pong table, and when I came to pick it up, the two of us had a great conversation and an instant connection. After my mother (my last living parent) passed away, I lamented to him that I felt orphaned, to which he immediately responded, “While I could never replace your parents, know that I’ll be here to offer all manner of parental guidance I can…” From that day forward, I referred to him affectionately as pops, and he referred to me as son… I’ll always remember him for his warmth, kindness, generosity, commitment, balance, intelligence, and integrity. In my eyes. he’ll always be a standard bearer for what it is to be a man. I’m tremendously blessed for the time we shared, and I’m selfishly filled with sorrow I’ll have to wait until I’m on the other side to embrace him once again.

I love and appreciate you, pops! I’ll forever hold dear the invaluable time and wisdom you readily and eagerly shared.

  3. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Brown. I will continue to pray for your family during this very difficult time.

  6. Linda Timberlake Flagg

Proud of you. You were a good friend growing up and lived a noble life. I feel fortunate to know you.

  7. A poem should be palpable and mute
    As a globed fruit,
    Dumb
As old medallions to the thumb,
    Silent as the sleeve-worn stone
Of casement ledges where the moss has grown—
    A poem should be wordless
    As the flight of birds.
A poem should be motionless in time
    As the moon climbs,
    Leaving, as the moon releases
Twig by twig the night-entangled trees,
Leaving, as the moon behind the winter leaves,
    Memory by memory the mind—
A poem should be motionless in time
    As the moon climbs.
A poem should be equal to:
    Not true.
For all the history of grief
An empty doorway and a maple leaf.
    For love
The leaning grasses and two lights above the sea—
    A poem should not mean
    But be.
    Love Rock

My cousin Thaddeus will truly be missed. He truly loved and cared about family. When we talked he would always mention all of us growing up in Southtown. He really loved having most of his cousins growing up together. I love my cousin, he was always concerned about how I was doing, when all along he had his own health concerns. Thad
was (is) a good man. Sleep well cousin.
My prayers go out to his wife and children.

To my favorite cousin, I just want to tell you that you have truly impacted my life. You encouraged me with our talks, and made me believe in things that I didn’t think were possible for me. You have prayed with me and told me things that you were believing God for with me, I know that a few of those things haven’t come to pass as of this day, but I still haven’t given up. Only you will understand what I am talking about. Heaven truly lite up when you enter into those gates. So many of our family members were there to welcome you. I pray that you continue to be my favorite guardian angel. I still need you. So please don’t forget me. I love you so much, and I plan to continue to be as close to your beautiful wife as I was to you. I know her nights have been lonely without you. Thaddeus, I will miss hearing your voice, and receiving those text messages from you.
Rest now, all that pain from having back problems and the pain from your illness is all gone. You can rest in paradise with your Mother, Father, and brothers. Until we meet again, I love you. Your favorite cousin …(smile).
