Patricia Ann Staten affectionately called “Pat” by all who knew and loved her was born to James and Hazel Farmer, July 14, 1947 in Cleveland Ohio, but grew up in Weston, Ohio. She studied at Ohio State University and was married to Billy Staten on August 12, 1972.

Patricia worked for the City of Columbus and retired in 2004. She belonged to Love Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio where she was a member of the Choir, Pastors Service Ministry and in charge of the annual Golf Outing. She was a faithful worker and served well until her health declined.

Patricia was a very stylish woman and always carried herself in an elegant manner.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Cynthia Fultz. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, her devoted husband Billy Staten of 48 years; two sons, Brian of Michigan and Tyrone of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Lacresia Staten; two grandchildren, Wayne and Sade’ Reed of Columbus, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Riehl and Rein; brother Scott Farmer; three sisters Yvonne, Shari and Shan of Los Angeles, California.

She fought a good” Fight” and loved the Lord until the end.

PRIVATE Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

A MASK IS MANDATORY.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
