Paul Eugene Ayers, Sr, a beloved brother, father, and friend, departed this life on August 20, 2023 at the age of 49. Paul was born on October 27, 1973, in Columbus, OH. Paul’s life was a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of family.

Growing up in Columbus, Paul attended Brookhaven High School, where his passion for football ignited. He thrived on the field, showcasing his talent and dedication as a formidable player. His love for the sport included his favorite football teams, the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State.

Though Paul’s life journey brought him joy in football, it was his role as a brother, father, and family man that truly defined him. He was a beloved son to his mother, Barbara Ayers, and a devoted brother to David Ayers, Vickie Ayers, Tearsa Ayers, Mary Ayers-Jenkins, Sherry Ayers, and Daniel Ayers, Jr. Paul’s nurturing spirit extended to his children: Lottiffe Terry, Paul Ayers Jr., Jaquayla Ayers, Kimiesha Ayers, Racheal Myers, Lanaysia Ayers, Marcus Ayers, Mahkayla Ayers, and Michael Ayers. Their bond was unbreakable, and his love and support for them knew no bounds.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Ayers.

In his quiet moments, Paul cherished family gatherings, where love and laughter filled the air. He reveled in the company of his loved ones, creating lasting memories and strengthening the ties that bound them together. Paul’s kind-heartedness and genuine nature endeared him to everyone he encountered.

Paul Eugene Ayers will forever remain in our hearts, an inspiration to pursue our dreams fearlessly and to cherish the bonds of family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will continue to guide us through life’s challenges.
