Saquaiza Michelle Martin, beloved daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter and friend, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Born on May 21, 1995, Saquaiza leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
Having graduated from Brookhaven High School and holding an Associate’s Degree, Saquaiza dedicated herself to her career in customer service at Molena Insurance while furthering her education in nursing. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her profession as she tirelessly gave back to her community, always putting others’ needs before her own. She was a member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, finding solace and purpose in her faith.
Survived by her mother, Kenya Williams; father, Cosaa Martin Sr; son, Tyreik Eddings; adoring grandmothers, Gwen Galloway and Pamela Martin; and cherished grandfathers, Keith Williams Sr. and Milton Frazier. Saquaiza will also be dearly missed by her brothers: Cosaa Jr., Kaveion, Haisaun, Kyron, Jakwuan, and Willie.
Saquaiza’s legacy of selflessness and compassion will be celebrated Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church on April 20, 2024, 2pm Wake and 3pm Home Going Celebration.
As we come together to honor the remarkable life of Saquaiza Michelle Martin, let us remember her for the love she shared and the light she brought into the lives of all those she touched. May her memory be a blessing, and may her spirit find eternal peace and serenity.
