A Time To Be Born

Steve Anthony Richards, also as “Uncle Steve” or “Rich” was born on August 22, 1961, to Martha Richards-Brown in London, England. He was the fourth of five children.

A Time to Live

Steve attended Dayton Ohio Public Schools and later graduated from Sinclair Community College with a degree in Zoology. He had a passion for all animals, as they were like his children. He also enjoyed fishing and cooking but had an extra soft spot for young people; he would always encourage them to do their best in life.

A Time to Love

Steve is survived by his loving mother, Martha; siblings, Faith Dillon, Donovan Dillon, Rose Dillon-Wilson, Douglas Dillon, Olivia Brown; His children, Tone Richards, Manaro Richards, Simone Jackson-Richards, Elijah Hawkins. He also had a range of nieces and nephews whose lives he played critical roles in.

A Time to Serve

Steve rededicated his life to Christ approximately two years ago and shortly began attending Living Water Church of God for all People. He then discovered his passion for teaching. He was a prayer warrior as well.

A Time to Depart

Steve Richards flew softly into the arms of Jesus on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Memorial Service 11:00am Friday, October 20, 2023 at City of Grace, 3350 Allegheny Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
