Victor Jerome Lee Dukes 48 of Sweeny, Texas passed away as the sun was rising on December 12, 2023 from heart failure. Victor was born on July 27, 1975 to Victor Price & Ella Dukes in Columbus, Ohio.
Victor had his first son Victor Pacifico on July 5, 1992. His second son Christopher Dukes was born on January 31, 1995. Victor met his wife/soul mate/other half/ying to his yang Sarah Lovelace on October 5, 2010. He took Sarah as his wife on February 14, 2013 making her a Dukes for life in Columbus, Ohio. Sarah brought three children into the marriage Savannah Rummell, Brandon Rummell & Johnathan Rummell. Victor loved them as his own & wished someone would try to tell him different! Victor got his sixth child when her father tragically passed away. Her mother was Victor’s oldest son’s mother. When her mother passed away, she still had Victor & his wife. Maria is the youngest child to Victor & Sarah Dukes.
What Victor loved more than anything in this world was adventure! Hiking in the mountains, along old riverbeds, and much more. Fishing was another activity that he took pride in! Most of all like the King of the jungle, he took protecting his pride at all costs as a priority!!! Victor is a protector & a warrior of his family & loved ones!
Victor had many welcoming arms ready for him at the gates of heaven! His grandmother & grandfather, his youngest brother, his twin baby girls & another baby boy as well as many other family members.
He was survived by his mother Ella Dukes, his father Victor price, his wife Sarah Dukes, his children Victor Pacifico, Christopher Dukes, Savannah Rummell, Brandon Rummell, Johnathan Rummell & Maria Maranda. His brothers & sister Alen Dukes, Jermaine Dukes, Edmond Price & Roberta Price. As well as many more family that loved & cared for him.
Although we drifted apart over the years, you will always be my Vit Vit. My first memory of us was me trying to pick you up off the couch as a toddler. I had already been warned not to, but you were crying and I did it anyway. A big mistake on my part because I lost my grip and you fell on your butt. Fast forward to the last time I saw you, a Price family cookout after returning home from Wisconsin. You talked of tales from doing time and the birth of the boys. I loved seeing you, but I took that time for granted assuming I would see you again. Until I see you again, sweet slumber my little cousin.

Uncle Rome was a great person. We always called him rome for short. Him and my dad were great friends and hearing about this broke me. Uncle I just want you to know that even though we weren’t family by blood that I appreciate everything you have done for me. He was a great protector and person as he loved all of his close friends and family. Im still sad I never got to show him my car as I was just planning to see him but even though he is gone, he will forever be with me in my heart. R.I.P Uncle.
